Railroad Risk Management, Inc. offers services as “Account Manager” to direct the administration of the Section 111 account and manages the overall MSP reporting process. RRMI also manages the data file exchange with Medicare via its partnership with Mitchell International. Services for the Medicare Secondary Payer process include client registration as a Responsible Reporting Entity (RRE) with Medicare, verifying Medicare eligibility for any and all FELA claims and non-FELA/third party injuries and incidents as required by law, reporting Medicare Beneficiaries to CMS quarterly in compliance with Section 111, managing the RRE’s account at Medicare’s secure website (COBSW), and partnering with Medicare compliance attorneys to ensure your final Release documents are in order and potential lien issues are addressed.
